The relative importance of metallic and industrial minerals and the role ofrnnondestructive methods is discussed. Why man come to industrial mineralsrnagain? There are three main groups of reasons for this. The geologicalrnreasons are:rn1. they are widespread;rn2. they have enormous reserves;rn3. they are easy accessible.rnEconomically:rn1. their development needs less investments;rn2. they are cheaper to obtain;rn3. they are more effective.rnTechnologically:rn1. they needs less processing;rn2. their obtaining needs less energy;rn3. they have less technological effect to the environment;rn4. very probable they possess exceptionally attractive properties for thernindustry.rnJust someone have to define their characteristics and to show them tornengineers and constructors. The aim of this paper is to popularizernnondestructive rocks evaluation and on this background to create rockrnphysical properties data base, for the needs of: construction activity;rnindustry; geological genetically reconstructions; natural and technogenicrnhazard assessments; nuclear and high toxic waste disposition; environmentrnprotection and many others. The obvious tendency of industrial mineralsrnconsumption increasing, define enlargement of nondestructive rocksrnevaluation services;
