摘要

This study presents an experimental investigation for condensation heat transfer and pressure drop of R1234yfin horizontal microfin tube with 3.5 mm outer diameter. R1234yf is one of HFOs and has Global WarmingPotential lower than 1, much more environment-friendly refrigerants than R134a which has GWP of 1430.Because it has close thermodynamic properties, R1234yf has more suitable potential to replace R134a for airconditioning and refrigeration systems. The experiments are carried out at a saturation temperature of 20 °Cand 30 °C, mass velocity ranging from 50 to 200 kg m~(-2)s~(-1) and vapor quality ranging from 0.08-0.93. The effectof mass velocity, vapor quality, and saturation temperature on condensation heat transfer coefficient andfrictional pressure drop were analysed. The experimental results are compared against values predicted byempirical correlations available in the open literature.
