摘要

The new booster synchrotron of the NICA accelerator complex was commissioned at the end of 2020 at theJoint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR) in Dubna. The booster is designed for preliminary acceleration ofheavy ions before injection into the Nuclotron. The 211-meter Booster ring is consisting of two halves – theleft half ring and the right one, which are independently cooled by liquid helium. The two half rings include41 dipole magnets, 25 doublets of quadrupole magnets and 24 corrector magnets. All the superconducting (SC)magnets are cooled in parallel. This article presents the technical data, obtained during the session, the coolingrate graphs for the booster synchrotron half-rings, and the training of the superconducting coil of the boostermagnets.
