This paper presents practical application of electrical method to three different objects. 1. Schlumberger resistivity sounding section is applied to explore shallow karst, where a set of empirical interpretation scheme for the Schlumberer resistivity sounding section is introduced. The final results confirmed the effectiveness of this method in exploring shallow karst. 2. Comprehensive electrical sounding method is applied in exploring leaking area at Lue Yintang Reservoir Dam in Huidong County in Shichuan. Due to the strong filtering electrical field at leaking channels of the severely leaked reservoir dam and noticeable IP effect, the electrical field is easy to be measured. Practical application confirms that the place of the leaking area of the reservoir dam can be rather accurately ascertained by combing resistivity sounding method, self-potential method and induced polarization together. 3. A practical example is showed in exploring the deep water-source at the Zhuoma hot spring in Chaya County in Tibet. And the practical section of the spring is a typical section with rather complete geological factors of hot spring and characteristics of electrical abnormality.
