Information and communication technologies, like Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) allow to creating new objects made of materials including microelements able of data sensing, storing, processing, and communicating. Communicating Materials (CM) is a new paradigm inspired by the Intelligent Product concept. This paper presents a recursive Multi-Agent Framework proposed for handling compositions of Communicating Materials, which are an application of the Janus Effect. The proposed framework, still in development, is illustrated on the McBIM project consisting in designing a communicating concrete and digital services that can be used by Building Information Modelling (BIM) applications throughout the material's lifecycle. MAS (Multi-Agent System) principles are demonstrated for this construction industry project to control WSN energy and to illustrate CM aggregation ability.
