摘要

A method of automatic registration of common sign points is proposed. Its aim is solving the problems of high complexity and low degree of automation in the process of public sign point registration. Firstly, the datum point pair is obtained. And the landmark points are matched by comparing the distance between each landmark point and the datum point. Then, the transformation matrix is solved by using the Rodriguez parameters. As a result, it achieves the stitching of two point cloud points. In order to avoid the local point iteration algorithm from falling into local optimum, as the initial position after the rough splicing, the intersection of two groups of point clouds is used. Through the stitching experiments and the exact stitching errors from different perspectives, it can be seen that it is obviously superior to the traditional stitching method. The results show that the method is fast and effective. The stitching accuracy is high.
