The paper presents an analysis of the temperature of the nodes of an asynchronous motor of the radiation-resistant design. Equipment for the processing of spent nuclear fuel (SNF) and the management of generated radioactive waste (RW) is placed in radiation-shielding chambers or canyons. Under conditions of constant exposure to ionizing radiation fields, there is an intense destruction of various assemblies of actuators made of organic materials, including insulation of motor windings, which leads to frequent equipment failures causing repair or replacement. Within the limits of the existing need, a project is being developed, with the purpose of creation of a radiation-resistant asynchronous electric motor with ceramic insulation for operation in. Recommendations are given on expanding the tasks of automation of the technological process, which can be provided by means of the developed control system based on software implementation. The results of the analysis of the difference of the diverted losses in the axial direction are presented. The evaluation of the effect of coolant on the temperature inside the motor was performed.
