Design and Implementation of Portable Deck Unit for Deep Water Acoustic Release

摘要

Deep water release has become an indispensable device in deep-sea research, and its supporting facility called deck unit is also essential. The deck unit transmits a specific acoustic signal to release the deep water release remotely, then the deck unit detects whether the deep water release is released according to the signal returned by the deep water release. If the release is out of deck unit's control, the release will not work correctly and expedition equipment which the release carries will not be recovered. Therefore the paper designs the multipurpose deck unit which can control the release action of deep water acoustic releases reliably.
