摘要

The intrinsic loss in plasmonic systems has generally been considered to be detrimental for several device applications. Using this loss to advantage, we report thermoplasmonic metasurfaces for unprecedented control over nanoparticle manipulation and assembly. We report parallel assembly of quantum emitters on plasmonic nanoantennas, stand-off manipulation of particles, and size dependent arrangement of nanoparticles. Our platform opens up vistas of applications in structural material production, quantum photonics, and color printing.
