Massively-parallel calculation of light scattering by large ensembles of spheres

We present a freely available software implementation of the T-matrix method for the rigorous simulation of light scattering by large ensembles of spheres. Results relative to large discrete random media comprising up to 105 scattering spheres are presented and discussed in terms of their optical hiding power.
