Study on Therapeutic Effect of Music Therapy on Patients with Dental Anxiety of College Students

Dental anxiety (DA) is the psychology obstacle of the dental patients in the dental treatment. It has been an important problem thait hampers dental care service in common people, especially in College Students of many countries. The serious dental anxiety not only injures oral health and physical and mental health of patients but also affects university students' normal study and life. The intervention treatment was carried out in college students with dental anxiety through music therapy, so as to eliminate their misgiving and fear. Different music is chosen according to different grades and hobbies of colleage students, then the doctor carried out careful operation when the patient enjoying music. We should measure and record the students' symptoms of diseases and reaction, so as to get score of dental anxiety scale(DAS) about preoperativcly and inrtaoperativcly. By using the music therapy and humanized nursing in college students with dental anxiety, we could obviously relieve their symptoms and dreadful emotion.
