Development of Integrated System of Intelligent Differential Scanning Calorimeter

The Differential Scanning Calorimeter（DSC）is a kind of analytical instrument with high accuracy. The instrument detects differences in the heat flow between the sample and the reference as temperature programmed changing. It is the necessary device in quantitative control, technique classification and science research. The embedded PC technique based on Single Chip Microcontroller（SCM） is studied. An integrated data acquisition and control system, which hardware control center consists of C8051F020 MCU and 24-Bit A/D converter ADS1216, can acquire and process the data, regulate the working temperature under PID. The automatic control in the course of measurement has been completed. An integrated Differential Scanning Calorimeter system, which is new-style and intelligent, is realized. The integrated system has advantages of friendly man-machine interface, small volume, low energy consumption and high reliability.
