This paper presents the development of a simulation tool for a Solar Heat for Industrial Processes (SHIP) plants, based on Parabolic Though technology and equipped with direct thermocline Thermal Storage System (TES). The model developed is a one-dimensional model, based on the Modelica language, which allows the transient performance evaluation of the plant.
