This report described the research of the mechanical properties of the soil basis by an equivalent material. This material is suitable for producing models of a base so as to quickly attenuate deformations in him the next step after the application of the load. It was applied cohesive soils the Karaganda coal basin and research carried out in a special device, which is designed to conduct experiments on the diagram plane strain.
