Certification of Clinical Biomedical Engineers - The Irish Experience

The BEAI has worked with others to develop a scaffold for certification of Clinical Engineers but delays in implementing Statutory Registration for Clinical Engineers have slowed the momentum of this work. This paper reports on the successes, the barriers, and the on-going challenges to implementation of a program for Certification of Clinical Engineers.
