Rubber magnetic composites were prepared by incorporation of strontium ferrite into rubber matrix based on acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber.Dicumyl peroxide as curing agent in combination with zinc methacrylate as co-agent were used for cross-linking of the tested rubber magnets.The work was focused on the observation of the composition of curing system on the cross-linking,physical-mechanical and magnetic characteristics of the composites in which the amount of magnetic filler was kept constant.The results showed that the presence of zinc methacrylate in rubber compounds has significant influence on cross-link density which showed linear increasing tendency with increasing amount of co-agent.The increase in crosslink density was subsequently reflected in dramatic change of physical-mechanical properties of composites.On the other hand,the remanent magnetic induction was slightly deteriorated with increase of zinc methacrylate.
