Micro-systems and nanotechnologies were successfully applied for ELISA detection and droplet generation. Under the AuNPs as a label of antibody in the electro-microchip, the detection limit for the protein A is 1 ng/mL. Then, the developed microfluidic chips can spontaneously generate the droplets of four various concentrations in different microchannels and generate stable and uniform emulsions that are less than 5 μm in diameter by using the electro-spray phenomenon.
