摘要

We synthesized VPOX which was designed to react with H_2O_2 and release antioxidant and anti-inflammatory vanillyl alcohol during its hydrolytic degradation. VPOX nanoparticles readily scavenged H_2O_2 and inhibited the generation of ROS and pro-inflammatory cytokine in PMA-stimulated cells, suggesting that VPOX nanoparticles have great potential for the treatment of ROS-associated diseases.
