Memory of the world— the ancient Dongba classics manuscripts catalog study

摘要

The ancient Naxi Dongba literature manuscripts were included into the UNESCO's Memory of the World Register in 2003.There are over 30,000 books of Dongba scriptures collected around the world.As the written carrier and the core of Dongba culture,they are very inclusive and profound and record almost every aspect of the ancient Naxi people's life.As a precious world cultural heritage,the Dongba scriptures are unique and vividly called the “Encyclopedia” of the ancient Naxi people.This research project tries to realize the cataloging of the ancient Dongba classics by integrating multiple disciplines and constructing a digital international sharing platform of the inheritance system of the Memory of the World—Dongba classics.
