Establishing Shanghai International Cruise Industry--Drawing on a US Experience

The Paper firstly gives an account of the profile of the US cruise industry that is well-developed and representative. With the help of both qualitative and quantitative analysis of the statistics gathered from the year 2005 to 2008, it then put forward seven US industries falling under the direct and/or indirect economic influence of the North American cruise industry. Finally, some advices to construct Shanghai International Cruise Industry are put forward by referring to the interaction of the US economy and its cruise.
