In the virtual environment, actual vehicle terrain matching models can’t factually embody the attitude change of vehicle because of nice variation on ground surface. To want to resolve this problem, for one thing we have to do well with veracious matching relations between rigid wheels and terrain. This discussed research actuality of vehicle terrain matching, and indicated research significance on the vehicle terrain matching. This analyzed stress on the wheel, and set up terrain matching model of wheel. Through OpenGVS software this actualized simulation on the models, and finally validates the models.
