Analysis and Study on Harmfulness of LPG Explosion

摘要

The phenomenon of boiling liquid expanding vapor explosion (BLEVE) of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) was analyzed. The methods to calculate the heat radiation and shock wave produced by BLEVE of LPG tanks and determine the safe distance were studied. These methods can be used to guide the safety design, system safety evaluation and fire rescue of LPG tank areas to a certain extent.
