Insensitive Munitions Why and what?

摘要

This paper gives a short review about why and what regarding Insensitive Munitions. How did it all start, and what has been achieved so far? It describes some of the tests that have been developed to simulate the different threat scenarios, and it also gives simplified tools for interpreting the results achieved in the different tests. Finally, it presents some operational benefits associated with the introduction of Insensitive Munitions in service.
