摘要

The increase of concentrations of cadmium and zinc in soil increase their uptake by plants. This has influenced the growth, development and productivity of the crops studied. Barley was found to be the most sensitive crop to Cd content in the soil. The experiments with microflora had shown that the presence in soil of Zn (300 mg/kg) reduces the numbers of bacteria. Organic matter in the form of peat-manure compost increases the population of soil microorganisms: 1.2 times in bacteria, 1.6 times in fungi and 1.3 times in actinomyces compared to the control.
