Fungicides are widely used in agriculture. As a consequence, drainage ditches and ponds may become contaminated by these chemicals, and in a way they enter marine environment. This study aimed to investigate the ecotoxicity of two very commonly used fungicides which are complex mixtures composed of Cymoxanil (CYM), Copper oxychloride (Cu-OCt), carbamte and partly with undescribed ingredients using a set of bioassays from both fershwater and marine species. The toxicity of Melody was observed in the order of algai growth inhibition >Vibrio fisheri> D. magna > A. franciscana for Melody while the sensitivity rank for Ramezin was of algal growth inhibition > D. magna approx A. franciscana for Ramezin.
