To evaluate the stability of slope hinges on reasonable determination of Rock masses parameters. In this paper, it resorts to three means, rock joint shear test in lab, and direct shear test of rock masses in situ and back-analysis of displacement, to make comprehensive determination of rock masses parameters c and Φ of Fentan Slope. As a result, it shows that values obtained from shear test in situ are less than those from shear test of rock joints in lab, but almost close to results of back-analysis. The obtained parameters exert remarkable effects on the process and results of analysis of slope stability.
