Perspective Directions for the Joint Scientific Research and Science Programs in the Frames of Regional Collaboration Between Russia and China

摘要

Intensive transformations in the regional natural and economic systems, located on the frontier territories of two big countries of China and Russia, most vividly reflect the present day tendencies of development and excite a consid-erable interest with the researchers. The unique character and specification of the regions, peculiarities of their history, social and economic structure define, to a great extent, the contemporary state of the environment and the structure of economic activity. However, a considerable increase of flows across the borders has resulted in significant deformations in social life and natural systems. To evaluate their real amount, in order to get a prognosis of their further development and consequences, elaborate recommendations for the administrative structures, aimed at braking negative tendencies and strengthening positive ones - these are the worthy goals for the present day science in our countries. In my opinion, this is the sphere where the national science schools and groups collaboration must be concentrated.
