摘要

Real-time monitoring and fault diagnosis for power system of vessels have very important realistic significance. In this paper, we explore a theoretical and practical way of designing embedded wireless monitoring and fault diagnosis system for power system. Because of fine compatibility of embedded PC with general PC, we can transplant and draw lessons from abundant technologies of equipment monitoring and diagnosis, which are mature and based on general PC. According to characteristic of different wireless communication modes and current development tendency, we adopt a certain mode of wireless communication to realize wireless data transmission between monitoring units and diagnostic center. The technology of data storage and administration based on MS SQL Server database is employed in the design of database of diagnostic center to realize data sharing with diverse formats and data fusion with other systems can be easily implemented. So, this paper provides a new way for fault diagnosis.
