To study single-energy X-ray inspection and double- energy X-ray inspection, the paper summarizes the technology of multi-energy X-ray inspection. To select special energy to inspect articles, adding optional metal board between x-ray and inspected articles. Finally, image processing with method of image fusion in various energy image. It provides high resolution and ultra-clear images for easy object identification. It can distinguish between organic and inorganic materials contained within the inspected articles. The X-ray image is colored according to the atomic composition of the material. It is ideal for security inspection of medium articles at airports, customs, railway stations, government buildings, post offices, courthouses, etc.
