Power Quality Controller with EDLC Connected in Parallel to Dispersed Power Sources

The number of installations of dispersed generators (DGs) is expected to increase. The output power of DGs fluctuates, making AC system interconnection problematic. As DC-to-AC converters of DGs generate higher harmonic also lead to degradation of power quality. We have developed a power quality controller (PQC) with built-in electric double-layer capacitors EDLCs.
