摘要

Two organisations were researched to determine the degree of age-based stereotyping evident amongst managers making employment-related decisions. The research methodology used in the study consisted of a mix of free response cards, and two different forms of repertory grid. Analysis of the research results allowed managers' perceptions of workplace colleagues and personal decision styles to be mapped and compared with their employment decisions and organisational stereotypes.
