An Approach Made to Problems In Introduction of International Funds to Develop Mining of China

摘要

The author of this paper had inspected several tens of gold mines and mining companies of major gold producing countries in North & South America, Australia, South Asia and West Africa within 1980's～1990's. Since 1992, as a consultant, the author worked for a few foreign mining companies to seek opportunities for establishing Sino -Foreign Exploration/mining JV of gold projects in China. The author has experienced the practices operated by the foreign investors as well as their Chinese partners. policy, laws, regulation and practical issues they met. The author attempt to discuss some conceptual and practical issues happened in introduction of international funds to develop mining of China merely based upon his personal understanding and experiences, and hope it will be useful for reducing misunderstanding for both sides and may promote the success of such cooperation.
