摘要

Metal ion binding has a profound effect on the structure and the function of proteins. Although conformation of proteins is investigated by using NMR and X-ray crystallography, these methods require a long time to get information about the binding of metal ion. In this paper, we describe development of a prediction system for metal ion binding sites in proteins by SVM.
