Tungsten heavy alloys are extensively used in both defense and commercial applications. The applications of this alloy keep increasing in the commercial sector. There is a need for complex shaped components made from various compositions of this alloy. This paper deals with the preliminary attempt to use a wick debinding process to shape a 95W tungsten heavy alloy composition. The processing and tensile properties of the tungsten heavy alloys processed by this method will be discussed. This investigation is funded by US Army under contract DAAD17-02-C-0003.
