In engineering, the biosignals analysis and processing have entered into the health services providing computer-aided diagnosis. Most of the algorithms for biosignals processing are developed using high cost tools, such as Matlab, which facilitate to carry out processing tasks. Otherwise, algorithms are implemented as a collection of libraries or specialized toolboxes, but when these applications are to be marketed, researchers are forced to spend time in designing a friendly graphic interface. Also, biosignals processing prototypes should be available in public domain languages to both lower the cost of implementation and deploy applications in real environments.
