CARBOTRAF - A Decision Support System for Reducing CO_2 and Black Carbon Emissions by Adaptive Traffic Management

The CARBOTRAF system combines real-time monitoring of traffic and air pollution with simulation models for the prediction of CO_2 and black carbon emissions in order to provide on-line recommendations for alternative traffic management options. The system will be implemented within the framework of a FP7 (ICT for Transport) project funded by the European Union and will be tested in the cities Graz and Glasgow (http://carbotraf.eu/).
