Through measuring the comprehensive level of urbanization and comprehensive quality of ecoenvironment in Jiangxi province of China, the paper explores the relationship between urbanization and eco-environment duringl978-2009 by some dynamic econometric models such as co-integration test, Granger causality test, impulse response function and variance decomposition. The results show that the comprehensive level of urbanization is Granger causality to the comprehensive quality of ecoenvironment, the pressure of eco-environment and the response of eco-environment in Jiangxi province, but there is not Granger causality relationship between the comprehensive level of urbanization and the state of eco-environment. Meanwhile, the effects result from both itself and the comprehensive level of urbanization for the comprehensive quality of ecoenvironment, the pressure of eco-environment and the response of eco-environment, but urbanization makes less negative impacts on them than the positive that of itself, and the change of comprehensive quality of eco-environment and the pressure of eco-environment will be stable until the performance reaches the 8th period because of their actions, but the undulation change of the response of eco-environment will gradually be intensified.
