摘要

The system efficiently identified and quantified all classes of chlamydial protein in both the Elementary Body (EB) and Reticulate Body (RB) form of this pathogen, providing important insights into its biology. RP-RP-UPLC-MSE displays excellent reproducibility and significantly improves proteome coverage. RP-RP-UPLC-MSE has been used for the absolute quantification of the majority of proteins of Chlamydia trachomatis. Measurements in terms of molecules/cell of proteins of the pathogen Chlamydia trachomatis could be inferred.
