The Chevrolet Bolt EV has set a new standard in battery electric vehicles, as the first vehicle with an EPA-estimated 238 miles of all-electric range at a price point attainable to a broad range of consumers. The Bolt EV builds on General Motor's long experience in hybrid and electric vehicles. Battery integration into the vehicle structure was one of the key elements of enabling range without compromising the passenger volume. Key elements of the propulsion system include a 60 kWh battery, a motor with 97% peak efficiency, and a low-loss drive unit. With a 6.5 second 0-60 mph acceleration time and seamless performance, the Bolt EV's outstanding drivability complements its all-electric range. The Bolt EV is connected with a driver interface that allows more insight on maximizing range and access to innovative features, like one-pedal driving and Regen-on-Demand, which redefine the driving experience.
