Abstract: Digital beam forming is State of Art technology in active phased array radars. DBF forms multiple simultaneous receive beams from a single wide transmit beam. This paper presents the impact of the variation in input signal strength, noise and failure of array elements on the DBF output based on the results obtained during the performance analysis of DBF hardware.
