THE HELIOSEISMIC SOURCES OBSERVED IN THE PROTON-RICH FLARE OF OCTOBER 28, 2003

We present 3 sources with well defined seismic waves detected from MDI dopplergrams using the time-distance diagram technique. The 3 new seismic sources S1-S3 started around 11:05:00-11:06:00 UT and had the downward velocities higher than 1.7 km/s and, as a result, slightly different horizontal velocities. The momenta delivered in the sources S1-S3 found from both the TD diagrams and hard X-ray and fiemission pointed to the possible agents causing the quakes: electrons and protons in the source S1 and protons in the sources S2 and S3.
