Currently, interest is increasing in how the micronutrient content of foods might benefit human health and nutrition Enrichment of iodine in crops is believed to be one of idea contributing to the intake of iodine for human health. From this point ofview, some trials using solution culture and drip irrigation containing high levels of iodine are reported. To prevent the environmental pollution from excess iodine, it is desirable to know the natural and/or conventional levels of iodine and to enrichiodine in crops moderately from natural organic matter containing high iodine.
