The implementation of Tiger line graph type of data enabled the major GIS analyses of address matching and geo-coding. However, uncertainty and errors occur from time to time. The inaccuracy of the topological relations would yield incorrect results of address locations in geo-coding processes. This research analyzes the uncertainty of topological relationships in the US Census Tiger line graph type of data using both spatial and conventional statistics. Parcel land ownership and taxation data of the Town of Orchard Park, New York, USA was used for testing and computation of topological and geometric errors. The results indicate that there is a clear tendency that the topological accuracy decreases from the beginning of the street segments to the end of them. The highest accuracy of related attributes of topology is the street name field. By contrast, the lowest is the address ranges of the street segments. Conventional statistics and the kriging of spatial statistics indicate that both left address range and right address range in the Tiger line graph encountered negative errors angst land parcel address range in about 75% of the total areas in the study area. This suggests that the address ranges in the Tiger files in general are greater than the address ranges on the ground.
