RESEARCH ON NATURAL GAS IN A CATALYTIC COMBUSTION BURNER

摘要

The pollutant emissions characteristics of the combustion of lean natural gas and air mixtures were investigated in the Catalytic Combustion Burner (CCB) with precious metal Pt based honeycomb monolith. The surface temperatures measured, investigating pollutant formation NO; CO, high radiation efficiency were the main objectives of this work. It was verified that only a catalytic combustion process can achieve at present for 'near zero' pollutant emissions.
