Convection heat transfer of pulsating flow in parallel plate channel with constant wall heat flux is theoretically and numerically investigated. Complex solutions for the fully developed velocity and temperature distributions are obtained. The effects of Prandtl number and pulsation frequency on heat transfer are discussed. The theoretical analysis and numerical simulation show that the Nusselt numbers fluctuate around the value for steady case. The amplitude of fluctuation is depended on Prandtl number, pulsation frequency and amplitude. When the dimensionless frequency (M = (ωh~2/2v)~(1/2)) is lrger than 5, the fluctuation of Nusselt numbers can be ignored.
