LOW COST NETWORKED SOLUTION TO IMPLEMENT HIGH PERFORMANCE, COMBINED LOAD CONTROL AND DATA ACQUISITION TEST SYSTEMS

摘要

A low cost, high-speed, compact, combined load control and data acquisition system is presented in this paper. This system is based on low cost networked personal computers; Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) test hardware and user friendly graphical programming languages. This system design is currently used in major aerospace industries to perform structural full-scale static, fatigue and component testing. The inherent high performance characteristics of such systems enable structural test organizations to run their test 3 times faster and reduce errors while applying more accurate loads to the test article.
