ETHICAL ANALYSIS OF AUTOMATION: A COMPARISON OF DIFFERENT ETHICAL THEORIES THROUGH CASE STUDIES

摘要

This paper briefly presents some of the main theories of ethics and then illustrates their application to a case study of the application of new technology in the form of genetically modified organisms. The case study illustrates the differences between the different ethical theories and the need for a more wide ranging 'multi-criteria' theory of ethics.
