摘要

Hemoglobin (Hb) was modified with p-nitrophenylcarbonyl(pNP)-PEG in order to increase its circulation time and oxygen-binding properties. Different MW of PEG blocks has been used as well as different degree of Hb modification with pNP-PEG. The optimized preparations demonstrated almost unchanged oxygen-binding capacity and circulation time of 5 to 6 h in mice.
