New multifunctional additives to improve printing quality and runnability

摘要

1. In addition to surface sizing agents, starch insolubilizers are necessary tools for reducing offset printing defects and increasing the offset press runnability. 2. Both properties can be advantageously provided by only one multirole product, easy to use in size press treatments. 3. Additionnal properties , such as whiteness, gloss, smoothness, can be also provided in the size press by a new generation of multirole additives.
