Charge Safety Analysis of a New Projectile During Launch

摘要

Explosive in projectile when launched with gun may ignite and explode owing to some effects caused by the over-loading, the rotating friction force, the centrifugal force and the heat conduction etc. Many references deal with the problem related to the over-loading effect, but few of them concern the others. This paper presents a concise account on all of the effects cited above for a new kind of projectile and focus is laid on the heat conduction analysis. Results show that the over-loading and the heat conduction effects are two main factors that may induce accident. Active measures are proposed at the end.
